After moving files, users can add, edit or delete

We moved our webserver from an old Mac OS X 10.4.4 box to a
new G5  
XServer 10.4.4.  All blogs are visable and can be read. 
Users can  
login to the blog, but can not add, edit or delete entries. 
My guess  
is a file permissions problem- just not sure what directory
to check  
or what the permissions ought to be.
