I would guess your Apple install is the correct location.

Mine are set as "drwxr-xr-x" for each blog.

Which I believe is chmod 766 or 755

You should be able to run Disk Utility and have it repair permissions to correct this problem.

blojsom install should have its files in the following location or similar:
