Plans to cross-post in categories?

One of the other ways to differentiate posts would be
through the use of
tags. I do like the more fluid nature of tags vs.
categories. You could
achieve what you've outlined below by tagging a post with
"jboss" and
"jdeveloper". 

Just a thought.
