Allow multiple users to edit a blog w/ LDAP authentication

Hi,

We are running Blojsom v2.25 on Tiger 10.4.8. We are also
authenticating usernames from a remote LDAP database, which
is
functioning well. Now, our goal is to allow multiple users
to edit the  
blog, for
any particular blog that we create. We modified the relevant
'authorization.properties' for the individual blog(s), as it
is
specified in the documentation on
http://wiki.blojsom.com/wiki/display/blo
jsom/LDAP+Authorization+Provider

For example, the blog owner is 'frank', the additional
editing user is
'jorge'. This is the associated 'authorization.properties'
file entries:

frank=_USE_DIRECTORY_SERVICES_
jorge=_USE_DIRECTORY_SERVICES_

We have made changes to this configuration file both with,
and
without, the "_USE_DIRECTORY_SERVICES_" phrase. In
both situations, we
received the associated 'blojsom.log' error message:

"Nov 06 10:28:40 ERROR [TP-Processor17]
authorization.LDAPAuthorizationProvider - jorge is not the
owner of
this blog, and only the owner (frank) is authorized to use
this blog."

Is there a global setting that may have to be set/unset to
allow
other/multiple users to edit the blog besides just the owner
of the
blog?

Is updating to v3 required to make this possible?

not sure about v2 setting, i'm running on v3 now and doing
what you are
expecting (at least i guess):

- user "me" is the owner of blog "me"
- user "pal" is the owner of blog "pal"
- both user "me" and "pal" are owner of
blog "mepal"

i'm running LDAP auth.

You could try using an updated version of the add-on core
library since it
does look like there are some minor code differences between
what's on
OpenDarwin and what's in blojsom's CVS for that class.

But, I thought that Apple had its own authorization provider
that could go
against directory services.

they haven't
