I have updated the Atom template to conform to the current
Atom
definition, but that brings up a question in regards to the
<updated>
vs. <published> tags for each <entry>. The
<update> entry is pretty easy
to figure out:

<updated>$entry.getISO8601Date()</update>

But I'm not clear on getting an ISO8601 date for the entry
creation time
for the <published> tag. I assume the creation time is
being stored in
the entry's metadata?

In blojsom 2.x they are the same.

In blojsom 3.x, there is a published and a modified date.
