Hi, Adding a user to the dbuser table using mysql>; insert into dbuser values (3,'shalini_israni',';whatever','shalini','shaliniemail','2007-02-19 11:19:23','new',1); does get rid of the exception. But now, whenever i try and change anything (add/del blogs, entries ,categories etc) ...it says that i don not have the permissions for that particular exception I am not adding anything else to any other tables. This it allows me for the default blog (id=1 in the query above). On trying to add to the blog i added to the system before LDAP came into play, the same exception occurs... What does this mean? And if this resovles the error, what part must i edit so that these accounts are automatically created when the user succesfully logs in for the first time? Also, how do i then authenticate him(update the blojsom database) if his LDAP password changes? Many thanks .... Try that and see if you still get an error logging into blojsom after authenticating with LDAP.
