Hi, I followed the instructions to set up blojsom + jetty + postgres in http://www.xclu.com/blojsom/blog/default/Java/Blojsom-Jetty-Postgres blojsom was up and running, I logged in, changed my password, switched a theme, added an entry in the default blog,... etc. The moment I tried to add a new user I ended up with this: 552537 [btpool0-3] WARN org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter - SQL Error: 0, SQLState: 23505 552537 [btpool0-3] ERROR org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter - ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint "dbuser_pkey" 552538 [btpool0-3] ERROR org.blojsom.fetcher.database.DatabaseFetcher - org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not insert: [org.blojsom.blog.database.DatabaseUser] 552538 [btpool0-3] ERROR org.blojsom.plugin.admin.EditBlogAuthorizationPlugin - org.blojsom.fetcher.FetcherException: Unable to save user login: pierre to blog: default ... sorry, just sorted out my problem myself, tought of sending this anyway, the problem was about using a JDBC3 postgres driver .. switched to a JDBC2 (pg74.216.jdbc2.jar) and everything is fine. maybe worth pointing it out in the postgres installation wiki... regards -- -- Edoardo Ceccarelli
