Comment/trackback moderation stopped working

When I upgraded from 2.25 to 2.29, the comment and trackback
moderation 
stopped working -- I don't get any mails anymore. Any clue
as to what 
might have happened?

Yeah, this was fixed in 2.30. I forgot to add some code to
set the mail
server even when a username and password were not provided.
