| Not able to add permissions when adding
a user |

| I am just starting
out, so till qualifying my install.
Oracle 10g, Solaris
10, Weblogics 8.1
When I log on to my
default blog as default user, I try to create a second user. I am able to do
this, but I am unable to add permissions of any type. If I try
and add permissions while adding a user, it will NOT add the user and I get a
status of "Unable to add 'user' as a user".
If I add the user
without permissions, it is successful and I can log on. If I try and add
the user via the permissions pull-down, I get a status that "Unable to
modify user".
Thoughts?

| If It helps, I've learned from another post that many
of the features are located in database vs. properties files. I had my DBA
provide access to me for the database and when I looked blojsom_dbusermetadata
table, there was only 1 entry and that was for default. If I added the new
user data here (after adding through the blojsom interface), I could add the
proper privileges and it appeared to work. As in, I could log on with that
new user and do stuff.
So, is there a problem in accessing that table when
creating a user through the admin flavor ?
