is there a way to "touch" an entry, so it gets
republished? for example,
after fixing a typo, I want it to get republished but it
doesn't - or is
this feed-specific behavior, in this case Bloglines?

I know that in WordPress, you can modify the date/timestamp
to move
it back up the chronology or appear as new. Have you tried
editing
the 'Blog entry publish date and time' value for the
post/entry?

You could move it forward or backward in time by changing
the timestamp.
It's probably more an artifact of the syndication format.
In the Atom
syndication format, there's the notion of an

element for
an entry. There's not a specific

element for RSS 2.0,
although I don't know if the convention in other software
has been to use
the last modified date for an entry for the

element.
Trouble is, in blojsom 2.x, there's no notion of an
"updated" time for an
entry. In blojsom 3, there is. I do need to modify the
templates for blojsom
3 to take advantage of this.

I haven't... What I can't explain yet is that when I
update an entry,
the updated entry doesn't show in Bloglines UNTIL I publish
a
new/different entry. That is today I write entry A. Get's
published. I
modify entry A. Nothing happens. 2 days later I write entry
B. Both B
and A show in Bloglines. Why wouldn't A show the first time
it got
changed? As you can see above, Bloglines detects a change in
A, but
doesn't act on it until B is published - weird.
