Hi,

because of my problems described previously, i want to use
blojsom 3
M2 in the future. Since its Spring based, i am pretty
confident with
the config stuff, since i am doing Spring for about one year
myself.

Some questions arise:

1. how to upgrade my 2.x posts from filesystem into DB?
(the upgade
doc only explain update from m1 -> m2)
2. is it possible to run blojsom in the different context? I
deflated
it with the default context by placing it in webapps, but
all the CSS
styles refer to "blojsom" as context instead of
my blojsom-3.0M2
context. Where to change this? I dont want to kill my
current
installation before i know everything is in place again.

One note:

Spring 2 final is nearly final. Do you really want to put
out blojsom
3 based on Spring 1.x? It would be a good markting move to
use the
new Spring 2 application context style with all that
namespace and
better configuration stuff. Everything is a bit cleaner from
the
config point of view. Besides this, you get JPA for free
which you
can use with Hibernate in the future.

I'm almost done with an RSS template that allows you to
export all the
entries, entry metadata, responses, etc... You'd use that
to export your
blog. That's the export side.

On the import side, you'd use the feed import plugin, which
will then look
at the blojsom-specific tags in the template and then modify
the post it
creates accordingly.

I'm pretty sure the Asual template references things like:

 <link rel="stylesheet"
rev="stylesheet"
href="#Resource('asual.css')"
type="text/css" media="screen" />

So, look at the blog-url and blog-base-url properties
configured in the
database and change those. I can make a note of that in the
setup
documentation.

Marketing be damned. Users want software that works.

That being said, blojsom 3 was built using Spring 2, so
it's all good. If
Spring 2 (final) is out before blojsom 3, I'll bundle that.
