A co-worker, one that has consumed more ruby colored
kool-aid than
you can imagine, asked me today:

"Does blojsom have a Ruby dispatcher?"

I replied, "Ruby running on the JVM yet? Oh, no.
Well...," then my
voice trailed off (insert image of hair set ablaze by wild
over
processing of possibilities).

Discuss.

Well, there's JRuby.

forge.net/>

" A 1.8.2 compatible Ruby interpreter written in 100%
pure Java "

I'm assuming they'd like to be able to use Ruby syntax ala
RHTML in the
templates? It seems that the syntax for RHTML is to take
what's in-between
<% and %> and that gets interpreted as Ruby. Would you
need the interpreter
to be stateful between <% and %>? I guess the
dispatcher would somehow need
to make the context items available to the interpreter as
existing objects?
