Also, if you’re using the XSS filter plugin, that will encode HTML that it doesn̵7;t recognize in responses.

I had a look at Tiny MCE source, it seems to encode some html entities.
In tiny_mce_src.js file, try to change
&nbsp;   ;this._def("cleanup", true);
to
&nbsp; &nbsp; this._def(&quot;cleanup", false);
See if it stops the encoding, and if it causes any unwanted side effect.

Or maybe you can write a plugin that listens to comment submission event and reverse the encoded characters, this wouldn't be a nice approach though.

Quick question.  I'm using tinyMCE for all blog entries and comments, however with blojsom 3.1 I'm noticing that the comments are being HTML encoded and stored in the database that way.  As a result most comments end up displaying HTML in them. Is there a way to turn this off or a place in the code where I could disable the encoding?
