--stagedir is too helpful

Boosties:

When I use bjam --stagedir=somewhere, the output files go
into somewhere/lib

--stagedir is "too" helpful. I didn't say
'lib', and to move the files
out of there requires much more mucking on our side.

We didn't call our project's general staging folder
'lib'.

How to get the files out of there? Tweaking the Jamfile is
permitted...
