Looking to hire rails contractor

MapBuzz (www.mapbuzz.com) is a startup that is building a
community 
website that makes it easy to share information about where
you live.

We are looking for a developer who loves to program (we’ll
ask you what 
apps you like to hack on in your free time) and is eager to
join a 
startup with lots of potential.  You'll become a key member
of our team 
– we’ll expect you to immediately contribute to design
decisions and 
soon thereafter elegant, working code. You must have strong
object 
oriented programming skills, experience with Ruby on Rails
and in-depth 
knowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
and SQL.  
Linux administration skills would be an added bonus.
 
The position is a six month contracting job that can turn
into a 
full-time job.  We are looking for someone who lives in or
around Denver.

Skills:
- Ruby on Rails development experience
- Strong object-oriented design skills
- Significant work with relational databases
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Like working on small teams, having lots of responsibility
and don't 
need much oversight
- Have good communication skills

Other Desired Skills:
- Linux administration
- PostgreSQL
- Passion for maps
- Experience with GIS
