biopsy results

Hi All,

Well, I finally got the results on my hip biopsy and it is
mets.  So this
leaves me with a met lymph node taken out of the breast and
a met to one
hip.  The lymph node was ER, PR, HER2 negative.  They are
trying to do this
testing on the bone but aren't sure they can because the
sample was very
small.  So I'm still in limbo regarding treatments.  I'll
sign up for the
BCmets list this weekend.  I don't know if I'll be able to
keep up with
both lists but I just wanted to let everyone know.  Thanks
so much for all

Oh Linda! DAMN! I was so hoping it would be otherwise! I
don't know what
to say. You must be totally numb!

I hope this is just one single spot, and that it will be
controlled by
therapy. The fact that there's just the one spot could be a
sign that
your met is not very aggressive. And it's ER/PR +. Maybe
you can repeat
Joan Varano's story, who has been NED for many many years
now.
