Prayer research

I have problems seeing how a just and loving god would favor
people who are 
lucky enough to have lots of people praying for them as
opposed to people 
who don't have people praying for them or just a few.

Jan, 2004:  Diagnosed with liver mets (1 large mass 6.9x7.7
cm and 
innumerable smaller masses)
Jan-Sept, 2004:  Navelbine and Herceptin
Sept, 2004-present:  NED !!!!!!!! Continuing treatment with
Herceptin every 
3 weeks.
