I'm sorry Phillip, but I don't think there is a way to
whitelist a user.
We could add you to the admin group though (I think you're
worthy!) and
then you could ensure that your own address is listed if you
go on an
editing binge (I'm assuming you don't have a fixed IP
address).
We might also be able to modify the point structure if there
is a
particular action that is causing you to get banned... The
structure is
currently the default:
BANLIST configuration, comma delimited list of:
1. Points for registration
2. Points for each save and upload
3. Points for view and other actions
4. Points for view raw
5. Threshold to add to BANLIST
6. Measured over time (in seconds)
* Set BANLISTCONFIG = 20, 5, 1, 20, 120, 300
So if you get 120 points in five minutes you're locked out.
We could up
that number, or change the time frame.
Finally, it's not a great solution, but you can monitor your
black list
score (it's listed in the side bar) to ensure that you slow
down when
you're getting close to being locked out.
n.
P.S. I'm not subscribed to the devel list, please CC me on
replies.
Thanks.
