OK, then we should probably consider changing the bric
installation's
default apache user to run as "bric" rather than
"nobody" IMHO so as not
to confound new users.

Um, no. I won't change Bricolage that much because of ident
stupidity.  
There are two choices:

   1. Use "nobody" as the name of the bricolage
database user when you  
are installing. This is how most Debian users have done it
in the  
past, I belive.

   2. Disable the stupid ident setting.
