Thread: Debugging publish process?

Debugging publish process?

I'm trying to figure out why none of my media files are
being published,
in spite of the fact that they preview just fine on the very
same
machine, and with the very same permissions. No errors are
reported. On
the contrary, the Bricolage UI claims that the publish run
was successful.

I've not been able to find any useful way to actually follow
and debug
the burn process. I'm confident I could find the problem if
only I knew
how to do so.

I tried running bric_republish with two --verbose flags (per
the
documentation), but the output was zero bytes in length.

Something seems to be failing silently, but I'm at a loss as
to how to
determine where the problem is occurring. Any guidance would
be greatly
appreciated.

Hrm. Make sure that the destination directory is correct.
Also, make
sure that all of the servers in the destination are enabled—

distribution to a destination with no active servers is
still
considered successful to Bricolage.

Huh.

Start with the above. Also, are you using bric_queued? In
that case,
you'll need to look in its log rather than main Bricolage
log.
