Multiple Sites with Bricolage

Hi all,

We are in the process of evaluating new CMS platforms for
our sites. I
am very interested in using Bricolage but I cannot seem to
find
documentation on multiple site support. Does Bricolage
support
multiple sites under one installation? How is this managed?

Thanks,
Max

The short answer is yes, and it's very easy. The notion of
a "Site" is a central concept in Bricolage.

This is a cut from the API documentation for Bric::Biz::Site
to provide some starting points for you, but perhaps others
know of a more targeted How-to for multiple site support.
If nothing else, these API docs are invaluable and you might
want to search the mailing list archives.

bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/

Bric::Biz::Category <http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/Bric
/Biz/Category.html>

Each category object is associated with a site.

Bric::Biz::OutputChannel <http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api
/Bric/Biz/OutputChannel.html>
Each output channel object is associated with a site.

Bric::Biz::ElementType <http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/B
ric/Biz/ElementType.html>
Each top-level element object is associated with one or more
site.

Bric::Biz::Workflow <http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/Bric
/Biz/Workflow.html>
Each workflow object is associated with a site.

Bric::Biz::Asset <http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/Bric/Bi
z/Asset.html>
Each asseet object is associated with a site.

Bric:ist::Ser
verType <http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/B
ric/Dist/ServerType.html>
Each destination object is associated with a site.
