Thread: Bricolage on Debian?

Bricolage on Debian?

Our new IT admin is going to try to install Bricolage on a
machine
running Debian, and I imagine he'll want to try to clone our
current
installation (1.10.2 / FreeBSD).

First, are there any reasons not to install Bricolage on
Debian? If not,
any good docs, threads or resources for installing Bricolage
on Debian?

We've only ever run bricolage on debian, and a clone should
work out of
the box if you install the list of packages I put in the
page above.

You will need to set up the postgres permissions in
pg_hba.conf so that
root can connect to the database as the postgres user.
