| Creating some "Getting
started" videos |

I'm trying to create some additional "getting
started" resources over
the summer. And, while I was doing this, I noticed two
things:
1. The default (included) templates for story.mc, page.mc,
and
column.mc don't match the examples found here:
http://www.bricolage.cc/docs/current/api/?Bric::Templat
es
2. If you try to use the the code examples at the URL above,
Bric
throws the following error:
Template compile failed: Error during compilation of
<anonymous
component>: Global symbol "$prev_page" requires
explicit package name
at (eval 470) line 45, <GEN95> line 265. Global symbol
"$next_page"
requires explicit package name at (eval 470) line 58,
<GEN95> line
265. Stack:
[/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/HTML/Mason/Interp.pm:
612]
[/home/canadianart/bricolage/lib/Bric/Util/Burner/Mason.pm:3
55]
[/home/canadianart/bricolage/lib/Bric/Util/Burner.pm:1519]
[/home/
canadianart/bricolage/lib/Bric/App/Callback/Profile/Template
.pm:566]
[/home/canadianart/bricolage/lib/Bric/App/Callback/Profile/
Template.pm:97] [/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/Params/
CallbackRequest.pm:294]
[/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/MasonX/
Interp/WithCallbacks.pm:115]
[/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/HTML/
Mason/ApacheHandler.pm:860]
[/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/HTML/
Mason/ApacheHandler.pm:814]
[/home/canadianart/bricolage/lib/Bric/App/
Handler.pm:311] [PerlHandler subroutine
`Bric::App::Handler::handler':1]
I'm wondering if:
A) It would make sense to get the code examples and the
included
templates in sync?
B) Alternately, if it would make sense to ensure the example
in the
API works "as is"?
Thoughts?
Phillip.

Might have been helpful to note that this was the code for
page.mc
It's in the code section under the sentence starting with
"Next let's
look at some example code for the "page" element
template. Here's the
Mason version:"
