I'm experiencing a recurring bug that I thought I had a
resolution,
or a patch, for. However, I still get the bug consistently,
and now
it's been so long (or at least today has!) that I can't
recall if
this is a new bug, or an existing one.
In short, if I check out a published media document, upload
a new
document (same name, etc.), and then "Check-in and
Publish," it
_always_ removes the media from the destinations (so I get a
404 on
that document after publish). If I find the media document
and check
the "Republish" box and re-publish, it publishes
the document and no
more 404. I've tried some variations and they all do the
same thing,
e.g., check into the Publish desk first and publish from
there, etc.
This doesn't seem to happen for new media documents that are
created
within the story UI.
Can someone let me know if they're experiencing this, have
experienced it, or can point me to the bug report? I've been
looking
with no success (but it could just be that Mercury is in
retrograde).
Many thanks in advance,
Phillip.
