| Organizations & Sources |

I'm doing some research on approaches to building a flexible
directory. One of the opportunities I was looking at was
using
Sources here as a way to keep things -- Stories, Media, etc.
-- all
tied together (go with me here for a sec). So, as I started
thinking
about Sources (and seeing some limitations there), I
stumbled on
Bric::Biz::Org's description:
"This class represents organizations in Bricolage.
Organizations may
be the companies for whom a person represented by a
Bric::Biz::Person
object works, or an organization that owns the rights to a
given
asset, or with whom a product is associated (this last use
will be
included in a future version)."
And it seem like Bric::Biz::Org::Parts::Addr makes these
available:
type
city
state
code
country
lines
But, these parts are not exposed to the UI at all; and the
Organization -- once created -- doesn't seem to get exposed
anywhere
where a Person Object could be related to it. Just wondering
what the
thinking was / is here before I go down this path too far.
Phillip.

I wrote that stuff at the very beginning, but there was no
demand for
it in the UI. Feel free to expose it in the UI and/or SOAP,
though.
It has been on the to-do list for a long time.
Best,
David

Cool. Thanks for the clarification.

If there were, they're long forgotten.
