Adding a story abstract to cover

After having created a new story, I'd like to include an
abstract (3  
or 4 lines with a (more) hyperlink and a title)
in front page (the so called covert, right?), so I've
created a new  
story (type: cover) and added a related story
(the article I wrote) but all I see in cover is:
Title: My Title
Teaser: <EMPTY>

How could I create a newspaper like news summary?

Hi,

If you find the cover template and edit it, you'll find that
you can 
pull out the related story you've linked and then access
parts of that 
story to pull out the bits you need into your current
template.

Extend your *original* story by another textarea for the
abstract (not
another related story type, as you wrote above).

Then create another element type for the
"summary", with a template
where you collect the stories you are interested and show
the
abstracts of them.
