debugging security settings

Hi,

I'm currently setting briolage to be used by multiple
people, all with
different set of workflows, categories and destinations. I
don't want
each users to be able to see other people's stories or
categories.

while I'm ok with the way permissions work in bricolage, I'm
having
trouble debugging things when something doesn't work as
expected.

Is there a way to visualize how permissions are interacting
for a
particular user/group? Is there a best practice to do this?

Regards,

Hrm, that's an interesting question. There is no way to
create a
visual representation of permissions that I'm aware of,
aside from
looking at the permissions page for the group and selecting
"Show
All" (or similar) from the dropdown, so that you see
all of the
permissions granted to the members of the group to all other
groups.
That can be expensive if you have a lot of categories, but
otherwise
is well worth it.

HTH,

David
