Well, the first thing that comes to mind is the work Dawn
Buie and  
Alan Dixon did on integrating Bricolage to Drupal.

I don't know much about Drupal except that 1) It has forums
and 2)  
those forums may have some ui issues. but 3) work is being
done on them.

I've copied Alan on this message to see if he can provide us
an  
update on where that Bricolage module stands.

As for putting forums in the actual Bricolage code, I
suspect that's  
a bridge too far.  Check out the "Content Management
vs. Community  
Building" section of this article.

I think promoting work on that module is the best bet for
adding the  
functionality you're looking for.  Others may think
differently.
