Two questions today:
1. Who's planning to attend OSCON this year in Portland? (h
ttp://en.oreilly.com/oscon2008/public/content/home
)
2. Who didn't take a look at the BricolageCamp2008 wiki page
and to
add their name and ideas to the list? (http://wiki.bricolage.cc/bin/view/Bric/BricolageCamp2008
)
(If you raised your hand, you can go and do that now.)
Just a reminder: The idea is to hold a one or two day
"Bricolage
Camp" (ala Foo Camp, Bar Camp, etc. http://www.barcamp.org)
event on
the 19-20th of July, or 26-27th, in Portland. This would be
a self-
organized "teach-in" or skills sharing event (with
the emphasis on
self-organized!).
With 1.11.0 on the way it seems like a great time to do
this.
But, we can only pull this off if there's enough interest to
make it
happen. So, don't hold back folks.
Best,
Phillip.
