Hello All,
There are a few things we would like to point out:
* Theres a "social meet" (that means going to
the pub and meeting fellow
computing students). More details are here:
http://tardis.brook
es.ac.uk/meet/ You should see posters going around.
Thanks to Kit for doing the posters and organising this
event. It will be
held on Saturday 18th March, and will start at 7:30pm at the
Hobgoblin.
* I've made a thread on our forum about Pascal/Delphi as
the first
programming language taught at Brookes. If you are unhappy
with this
choice of language, then let us know... as the outcome of
this discussion
will be taken to the department of computing at brookes. The
discussion
can be found here:
http://fleximetal.oxfordhost.co.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.p
hp?t=102
* We would still like to have a Computer Gaming event at
Brookes. Feel
free to discuss this on the forum.
* We are also really wanting, and have tried to get
affiliation with OBSU,
we shall be (fingers crossed) be proposing affiliation at
the UGM this
Semester!
Thanks for reading. If you want any more details then please
email me
(03101417 brookes.ac.uk) or talk to one of the other
CompSocExecs (Kit or
Miri) or alternatively post on the forum.
Don't forget our URL:

Thanks again,
Daniel.
