I have a requirement that we allow third parties (i.e.
developers) the
ability to hook into aspects of our frameworks processing -
i.e. when a page
loads they want to log this with additional information,
when the mainframe
is called they want to inspect the request/response etc. In
essence we'd
like to define a whole slew of events that interested
parties can listen
for.
Is there an industry standard approach to this, something
supplied by the
framework or a model/pattern I should look at for ideas?
