Hi,
I cannot seem to find how to access the SOAP headers from a
consumed web
service from within an orchestration using BTS 2006. The doc
says, "After
you consume a Web service with defined SOAP headers, these
headers become
available to your orchestrations and pipeline components as
context
properties."
Okay, well after consuming the web service with defined SOAP
headers and
launching the expression editor there are no such context
properties
available according to what intellisense is saying. I CAN
access the SOAP
headers from the input request (as the orchestration is
published with
defined SOAP headers set to true in the publishing wizard).
The same piece of doc goes on to say "For each defined
SOAP header in the
Web service, you can create a context property by using the
name that
corresponds to the root element of the SOAP header."
Why do you have to
create the header? It just said that by adding a web
reference to a web
service with defined SOAP headers that that the context
properties are
created automatically for you. It then show a simple xml
document for the
SOAP header (which is an instance document to boot) and
doesn't say how to
use it or where to enter it!
Any ideas?
The doc I am referencing is:
http://ms
dn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sdk/
htm/ebiz_prog_webservices_lpum.asp
Although the doc is for BTS 2004 it is identical to that
found in BTS 2006.
Paul
