Re: GLP OpenGL Extension and SunRay Server Software

Hi,

Just some romours(half a year ago) that I heard that Sun is
testing 3D SunRay software which renders on a graphic
adapters, then sends it to the SunRay.

But this was before version 4 of SRSS so it it failed or if
it still work inprogress I don't know.

This test is supposed to have been done at a car company in
west Sweden famous for safe cars with a latin name

This might be VirtualGL/Sun Shared Visualization Software. 
I've never used SSVS at all, but I'd be interested to know
how well OpenGL works with it to Sun Ray.  VirtualGL's
website says that SSVS sends data directly to the Sun Ray
(bypassing the X Server).
