Out of interest, did you do speed tests using CIFS with a
single GbE NIC at each end -- i.e. NOT using trunking? If
so, what speeds were you seeing?

I did the test with the Solaris Server on a 2GB Ethernet
Trunk and the iMac using a single GbE interface. I'll trying
just using one and see what kind of speeds I get.
