 Oracle DBA 




Location: Irving, 
TX - WANT LOCALS ONLY


Length: 3-5 
months




 


The Database Administrator will be responsible 
for the support of the databases Systems used in the Program. 


    
  
  • This will include anticipating and identifying 
  issues and manage the resolution of such DB issues in an expeditious way. 
  
  
  • Specifically, the DBA is responsible for:Oracle 
  DB configuration and administration 
  
  • Server DB client installations; 
  
  • Laptop DB client installations; 
  
  • Documentation of database configurations; 

  
  • Change Management of DB configurations; 
  
  • DDL Review; 
  
  • SQL Tuning; 
  
  • First level of contact and support for 
  development teams. 
  
  • Skills should include 
  Oracle 10g, Oracle DataGuarding, experience in Active/Passive clustering 
  including HP ServiceGuard and/or Verias Cluster server. 
  
  • Any Redhat Linux is
