Excellent long term consulting opportunity available with a leading knowledge and information management firm. We require several resources to develop and build upon baseline Business Information Systems. Knowledge of XML/XSD, XSLT, JMS, Oracle and how information is exchanged using various technologies is required. In addition resources should be knowledgeable in metadata tools and management of data assets.
We are seeking motivated self starters with the ability to travel. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are capable of performing effectively in a team, or alone and
unsupervised. Persons who proactively seek innovative solutions to problems and know how to communicate effectively with customers, team members and management will be considered.
Requirements:
4-5 years of current of hands-on experience in designing and developing applications based on J2EE architecture using XML, XSLT, Web Services, JDBC, JMS, MQ, Java, Oracle Database, Websphere and/or Weblogic Server.
2-3 years of experience on UNIX operating system.
Should have experience in the following areas:
- Interpreting Business requirements - Estimating work units, planning and scheduling of work units - Development of work units
- Providing technical issue resolution, setting testing guidelines, testing the developed units and integrating the developed units.
Resources should have worked on delivery phases of projects such as release/configuration management, supporting QA and user acceptance test and final implementation of the system in production. Team Lead experience is a plus.
Manufacturing systems development experience is a plus
