Title: Cognos 8 Administrator

Location: Dayton, OH

Duration: 12 months

Rate: $80 - $100/hr



Objectives: Support and maintain COGNOS 8 in a large /
complex Unix
environment.



Skills: This job is NOT for a COGNOS developer - it is for a
COGNOS 8
Administrator that should be more oriented towards Cognos 8
install,
capacity planning, performance tuning, troubleshooting &
configuration.
Exposure to migrating / upgrading from Cognos 7 to Cognos 8
would be
desirable.



Notes: As such, the COGNOS analyst has command of COGNOS 8,
Unix, SQL
and relational database technology (Oracle or Teradata).
Prior
experience with Teradata warehouse application is welcomed.

Knowledge of ERWin, SQL, Business Objects and Informatica
are definite
Pluses.
