Documentum & Java Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of Documentum experience (7-10
years is preferred). Additionally, candidate should have 6 years of J2EE focused on web
technology including standard Java, servlets, and JavaServer Pages (JSP).
Responsibilities include:
Develop and enable the team to develop a customized web based Java application within
Documentum without supervision.
Modify existing Documentum 5.3 Webtop functionality to satisfy user requirements.
Create workflows and document lifecycles utilized through the Webtop interface.
Develop programs, prepare test data, and unit test and debug programs.
Translate specified features into Documentum functionality using analysis, Documentum
expertise and problem solving.
Solid hands on knowledge is REQUIRED with the following:
Documentum 5i Suite of products including Documentum APIs, DFCs, DQL, WDK, Application
Builder/Developer Studio, Workflows and Lifecycles. Experience with Documentum's security and object model.
Web development technologies including Java, JSPs, servlets, J2EE, HTML, DHTML, XML,
JavaScript, Oracle PL/SQL, DQL and Documentum API's.
Tools required:
Documentum Version 5.2.5 SP2 and version 5.3, WDK, Business Object Framework, Webtop,
WebPublisher, WebCache, Site Caching, Site Deployment, DAB, DocApps, DFC, Java, J2EE, JSP,
CONTENT IMPORT/EXPORT PROGRAMS, DESIGN DOCUMENTATION (UML class diagrams,
UML component diagrams, etc.) source code control using Rational ClearCase, and unit testing
JUnit strongly preferred.
Skills Required:
Experience implementing a Documentum Solutioin with more that 1000 users is a prerequisite.
Candidate must have a solid background estimating, analytical, software developement
methodology, and problem solving expertise.
Team and community oriented with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks without
constant supervision. MUST BE AGGRESIVE AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THEIR
TEAM (Project Manager, Business Analysts, Testers, Tecnical Architects and others.)
Must be able to translate business requirements and technical specifications into working code
and unit tests. They must also be able to understand and effectively work in a matrixed
organization.
