(Tester with EDI)

Pay Rate: ; $42/hr.
Candidate must have experience with EDI in the
HealthCare industry.
Position requires 5+ years in an
EDI environment.
Candidate should have an awareness of useful
metrics for EDI operations.
Candidate must have strong ANSI 837
experience in a Production setting.
This may include mapping
data to and from the 837 (conceptually), using
mapping products
(such as ECMAP) to translate files to and from the 837,
;
implementing 837 edi transfers between trading partners,
troubleshooting
837 operational issues, reviewing 837 files,
etc.
Similar experience with the 835 claims payment format would
be a plus.
Job tasks will include developing test plans and test cases
and documenting
test results. Candidate must have proven writing skills and
the ability to
develop coherent, comprehensible test plans and related
supporting
documentation. Good oral communication skills are a definite plus.
Proof of
writing skills may be requested. Must be able to communicate with
technical
and non-technical staff and make their point tactfully in the face
of resistance.
