Required Skills

* Ability to analyze data and determine root cause of problem, develop procedures to correct issues, ability to write queries to assist with identifying and resolving the issue, ability to write specifications to make corrections.
* Must have PeopleSoft public sector experience in 7.X & 8.X and must have experience with a public sector upgrade.
* Must have experience with the purchasing module, encumbrances and commitment control in 8.X .

Job Description

The Client will upgrade PeopleSoft Public Sector Financials from 7.02 to 8.8. The go live date is July 10, 2006. Three contractors are needed to assist with the specific issues related to the areas of upgrading encumbrances from 7.02 to 8.8, how purchase orders relieve budget when cancelled, purchase order reconciliation to commitment control (KK), identify issues with purchase orders and trouble shoot with end users on how to correct the issues as related to upgrade, write functional specifications for end users to correct issues, and analysis to identify issues related to encumbrances. Encumbrances are a known issue with public sector upgrades from 7.X to 8.X.
Individual will work with state resources.
