Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (Locals Preferred)
Duration: 12+ months with probability of extension
Bill Rate: $45-$48/hr c2c
Job Description:
Primary responsibilities will include the following:
· Performing analysis and verification of Essbase Metadata
changes.
· Updating the Essbase Metadata Hierarchy.
· Defining and administering Essbase security.
· Provide BIO support of Hyperion Reports and Analyzer for
business
customers, handling requirements gathering, enhancement
tracking and
migration execution.
· Support ELOB, Recoveries Models, Interchange Models and
other application
as well as other Corporate initiatives and requirements.
· Troubleshoot application problems and assist users on a
daily basis and
assist in resolution of system issues.
· Performing data retrievals from archived databases for
financial analyst.
· Working with business partners to identify and document
system or process
enhancements.
· Performing system configuration changes and work closely
with development
resources to ensure coding changes accurately reflect
business needs.
· Testing and implementing system enhancements,
configuration changes, and
break/fix solutions prior to implementation.
· Serving as a liaison between MRP and various IT groups.
· Maintaining issue log and communicate resolution to
business partners.
· Serving as application SME for special projects.
Secondary responsibilities will include:
· Providing back-up support for EPM application, especially
during actual
load periods and restatement periods.
· Ad hoc support for large-scale projects that impact the
CFAR application.
Job Qualifications Required:
· Broad knowledge of Finance and IT required with
demonstrated understanding
of systems and data processing.
· Bachelor's degree required.
· Must have ability to translate technical issues into
non-technical terms
and document requirements.
· Demonstrated analytical skills and strong interpersonal
skills.
· Self-directed, able to work in a fast paced, multi-task
environment and
understand both technical and business concepts.
Preferred:
· Experience with Hyperion applications, including Essbase,
Reports and
Analyzer desired.
· Experience in database development and web based reporting
· Experience with integrated systems and Project Management
as well as
Operations Management.
