Job Title : Sr SAP ABAP

 

The person will be responsible for technical implementation of ERP projects and also support existing objects with regard to all technical aspects and report directly to Technical team lead. The role comprise of design, development and maintenance of all ERP related technical objects and interfaces. Besides, he/she will work very closely with the functional leads of Logistics, Production planning and WCS (Warehouse Control System) areas.

 

Broken down a list of his/her task would include the following:

 

• Developing Reports and Interfaces using ABAP/4
• Interface validation and maintenance
• Build Function modules, RFCs and BAPIs and support the same
• Design Smart Forms for various document and label printing needs
• Program custom Transactions
• Create technical specification for all objects developed
• 24/7 support

 

 

Required skill set:

 

• Expertise in ABAP/4 language and workbench tools
• Experience with BAPI (Standard and Custom)
• Strong in Inbound and Outbound RFC calls
• Knowledge of ALE, EDI and IDOC
• Performance tuning
• Basic understanding of SAP Logistics modules (MM, PP, SD, WM)
• SAP console experience is a plus.
• General SAP Basis knowledge (preferable)
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Documentation skills with reference to detail technical specifications
