C2Cjobs Need Oracle Developer !! Local to MA/NH/RI ONLY!!

Typically we hire people for development purposes and our Production monitoring and fine tuning is done by our in-house experts. This time I need more help on the later area so the candidates should be serious, accomplished professionals that know what they are doing. The will be working on our Production environments and the last thing I want is to babysit anybody to make sure he will not make a costly mistake.

Here is the description:

This DB developer will work with the rest of development team here in MA.

His responsibilities will include:

·       Monitor and tune poor performing queries in our Production environment
·       Write and test shell scripts to load data in the DB
·       Perform weekly load/extracts for our commercial data application.

The requirements are:

·       5+ years of Oracle programming (PL/SQL and Pro C)
·       Solid DBA experience
·       Experience tuning queries in production environments
·       Awk or PERL scripting experience in a production environment
·       Unix/Linux experience

The length of the engagement is 6-12 weeks starting the week of May 15 or May 22.
