Duration:6+ months
Candidates must have at least 5 years QA experience
- Testing applications with responsibility for defect
tracking and
follow-up
- Applying a very detail oriented, organized and systematic
approach to
testing
- Reporting test coverage and risk
- Knowledge on Test Case/Defect traceability
- Development of QA Artifacts such as Test Plans, Test
cases, Test Run
reports, etc.
- Knowledgeable in Automation framework a BIG plus
- Scripting knowledge using QuickTest Pro (QTP) and/or
LoadRunner a BIG
plus
- Knows various methods of testing (Functional, Interface,
Smoke,
Regression, etc..)
- Can perform and willing to perform manual testing
execution
- Working knowledge of Mercury Interactive's Quality Center
or Test
Director a plus
Candidates must also have:
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills within the
desktop,
server and network environments
-Basic SQL Skills. This associate/consultant must be able to
create/execute selects involving joins across several
tables.
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
-Working knowledge on UNIX/Linux desired but not required.
-Understanding of software development life cycle.
-Solid understanding of financial services, securities
industry, and
compliance is a plus.
