JOB LOCATION:  HOPEWELL, NJ

 

Project Description:  The Procedure Request System is a software development project that will deliver a tool to manage the development of Clinical Data Quality checks within the CD and GCD organizations.

The project requires a dedicated Senior Java/Web Developer to design and implement a web-based application. The accepted candidate will be responsible for providing input to the system architecture, detailed designs for individual components, and implementing the designs. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior developers in the use of Java as a development tool.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:
Strong Java and WebLogic experience.
Strong experience deploying web applications using WebLogic.
Strong experience with automated testing suites such as JUnit.
Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
Experience with test-driven development.
Experience with continuous build processes and associated tools such as Ant.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience mentoring junior developers.

Prior experience with Navigo development methodology or software development in a regulated environment for a pharmaceutical company, and experience with Clinical Data Management procedures would be extremely helpful.

 

Required Skills:  Java, WebLogic, Pharmaceutical, Oracle and PL/SQL.

 

This 4+ month position starts ASAP.
