Job Requirements  A minimum of 3 years experience developing automated test scripts for web applications using commercial software (at least one year using SilkTest or QTP).
>  A minimum of 5 years experience in QA or systems analysis.
 Experience developing test plans based on functional specifications.
 Strong understanding of software development practices.
>  Strong attention to detail.
 Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Additional Qualifications  Experience supporting investment applications advantageous.
 Experience working with market data vendors and pricing data would be considered a strong plus.
 Data analysis skills and user interface design knowledge a plus.
>  Experience with Java Struts for web applications beneficial.
 Relational database experience and strong SQL skills desirable.
>  Familiarity with iterative development methodology and Use Cases would be a plus.

Job Abstract The IDS systems group seeks a consultant QA specialist to develop an automated testing strategy and supporting scripts for the Pricing system;s web application. The new Pricing system is being developed using an iterative methodology which requires substantial regression testing, in addition to frequent functional and systems testing, thus the need for automated testing.

The consultant QA specialist will work on requirements, specifications, design and development for automated testing of the Pricing web application. The web application is written using Java Struts and the in-house automated testing package is SilkTest. The consultant QA specialist will work directly with software developers, business systems analysts and UAT specialists, and be expected to train others to conduct and maintain the SilkTest scripts.

Location - Boston
Duration - 6 months (possible long-term extension)
