Application Systems – Intermediate
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex integration of applications and solutions across the enterprise (corporation). Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Competent to work most phases of application systems analysis/programming activities. Familiar with a variety of the field's concept, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and five plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. This position requires 60-65 percent of COMPASS mainframe systems, and 35-40 percent of COMPASS web systems.
