Good customer-facing communication skills and organizational

J2EE Platform - A broad understanding of the architecture

Assignment Description Provide support in the Corporate
Portfolio for

Assignment Description: The position is for a DB2-UDB DBA in
an SAP,
IBM pSeries AIX environment. The individual should possess
experience
with SAP R/3. A summary of the skills required for this
assignment are:
Planning and installating SAP software and the database
component
Database layout and storage management Modifying database
layout and
storage allocation Proactive database monitoring Database
performance
tuning Performance tuning of DB2 tools, for example, backup
and restore
High availability options for DB2 UDB databases Preventive
problem
analysis with DB2 UDB Diagnostic analysis and problem
resolution
Intermediate skills with AIX command line processing.
Certain DB2
maintenance, performance and diagnostics must be done from
the UNIX
