We are looking for a looking for a senior level Business
Objects XI
consultant for a long term project in NYC.

Below is the description:

Training and Application Rollout
- Coordinate the training plan for all new/existing users to
the
Business Objects platform, making a determination of what is
needed by
business line
- Manage the inventory of education credits and Knowledge
Accelerator
licenses
- Providing actual phone and on-site training and end-user
support
- Participate in the development, testing and implementation
of
additional functionality that will be introduced in a phased
approach
through subsequent "releases"

Business Objects XI Support
- Maintenance of all static reporting on the Business
Intelligence
Portal, providing weekly updates and scheduling and posting
new and/or
updated reports as needed.
- Changes to existing metrics and analytics
- Uploading PDF-ed documents to Business Objects
- Maintaining the BI Portal file update checklist
- Weekly communication with business partners
- Maintenance of the Business Objects metadata tool (i.e.
Encyclopedia,
Intelligent Question)
- Development of new analytics

Skills Required
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Capacity to train and educate end-users
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Works towards the completion of tasks, not to a
pre-defined time
- Able to multi-task effectively

Software Used
- Business Objects XI Product Suite (Web Intelligence,
Desktop
Intelligence, Performance Manager, Dashboard Manager,
Universe Design)
- Crystal Reporting a plus
- SQL
- MS Office Suite
