Net::SFTP 0.10 - Broken Pipe error

I am getting the Net-SFTP Broken pipe error trying to
connect to the Host server. It is not even creating an SFTP
object. I cannot use Net SFTP Foreign because it does not
support Password authentication. I need to use username and
password to connect to the SFTP Server and I have to use
Net-SFTP for this purpose. Please help.
